Pump station, FMC

SPOT AS has delivered a custom-designed pump station to FMC for testing subsea equipment, with pressure regulation ranging from very low levels up to 1050 bar.

SPOT AS has designed and built a complete pump skid for FMC, developed specifically for testing subsea equipment. The system is engineered for high flexibility and performance, capable of delivering pressures up to 1050 bar, with fine-tuning down to very low pressure levels.

The pump system is equipped with sensors for pressure, temperature, flow, and speed, providing full control via a PLC/HMI interface. This makes it ideal for precise testing and calibration of advanced subsea technology.

The project was carried out from March 2019 to February 2020 and included the entire delivery process – from planning and design to procurement, production, and testing.

Production involved tubing dimensions from 6 to 25 mm, using medium pressure tubing, with water and methanol as media, and pressure ranges from 10 to 1050 bar.
